Sebastian Vettel says he is not entirely happy after Ferrari struggled for pace during Friday practice at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The four-time world champion was only ninth fastest in opening practice -- with teammate Kimi Raikkonen just behind -- and over 1.6s down on Lewis Hamiltons pace. After an improved FP2, in which the Vettel once again finished ahead of Raikkonen in seventh, the German could only get within 0.7s of Mercedes.I think one lap is difficult to judge, but I wasnt entirely happy, Vettel said. The gaps between the cars were close and if its like this tomorrow maybe we can do something with it. It was a tricky day -- very slippery and very hot, so everybody I think was struggling with the tyres. It was a bit difficult to find a rhythm, but on the long run it was a bit better for us. I havent seen what the others are doing, but I felt a bit more confident with more time and laps in the car.We were pushing to the maximum, but maybe we were not quick enough. As I said, it was a bit of a tricky day and, as I said, we tried a lot of things and now we need to go and see what was actually best.Despite enduring a difficult day, Vettel says he can take positives from how close the times are between the chasing pack, with just 0.3s ?separating Williams, Red Bull and Ferrari by the afternoon session. The good news is that the gaps are really close, of course Mercedes seem to be a bit up front as expected, but other than that I think its very close. If it stays like that I think we have the chance to do well tomorrow.Towards the end of the day I seemed to calm down a bit more and find a rhythm, which wasnt the case for the short run and the fast lap -- I wasnt very happy. Anthony Calvillo, through 20 CFL seasons, was frequently invincible and largely stoic in the heat of competition. But underneath the professional exterior he was, and is, compellingly human.
