Dutch darting legend Raymond van Barneveld says he is relishing the opportunity to renew hostilities against Phil Taylor on the opening night of the Premier League. The roadshow gets underway at the First Direct Arena in Leeds - live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 7pm.And 2014 winner Van Barneveld takes on six-time champion Taylor looking to get the better of his great rival, having beaten him twice in the competition last year. Its that time of the year again, the 48-year-old from Den Haag told Sky Sports. I won it two years ago and last year I made it through to the semi-finals and Im ready for this year. Its a big game between me and Phil, but there are all big games in the Premier League now. If youre playing Gary [Anderson], Michael [Van Gerwen], Phil, James [Wade] or Michael Smith - it doesnt matter anymore.Every week you have to prepare yourself right and do the best you can do. Every week there are all finals now - there are no easy matches anymore. Van Barneveld reached the semi-finals at the World Darts Championship I had three weeks off after the World Championship so Im preparing myself now.I always give myself two targets every year - do well in the Premier League and in the World Championship. During the rest of the season hope to do well and try to lift some trophies, especially in the majors. There are a lot of quality players among us at the moment, so its not really easy anymore. Van Barneveld won the Premier League title in 2014 Im saying [its the hardest Premier League] every year because its getting better and better. Its not about the averages anymore, the averages are not important, the wins are.Van Barneveld is prepared for The Power and will be looking to continue his recent upsurge in form against him having won three out of their last five meetings since last years World Championship semi-final defeat. Why not start with the best of all time, he said. Last year I felt a lot of pressure on my shoulders because I was the holder and I lost 7-1 to Adrian [Lewis], so hopefully I will do better against Phil. The biggest names in darts are preparing ahead of this seasons Premier League. Are you ready? If you look better in the last three or four games me and Phil played, I beat him, so that says enough about my quality in the Premier League for the last two or three years. The averages are going up and the level is brilliant. If you see these young kids and how easily they hit the boards with trebles and doubles, its simply amazing. You have to beat them every week otherwise you wont win any great tournaments again. You can watch the opening night live on Sky Sports 1 from 7pm on Thursday, or watch without a contract on NOW TV.We will be building up to the coverage this week on our live blog here www.skysports.com/darts and the Sky Sports app will keep you up to date with all the action. TAMPA, Fla. -- Josh Huff is getting a second chance in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The former Philadelphia receiver and special teams standout was signed to the Bucs practice squad Monday, less than a week after the third-year pro was arrested on gun and drug charges and subsequently released by the Eagles.Huff, 25, was charged Nov. 1 with possession of a 9 mm handgun without a permit and having a small amount of marijuana after he was pulled over for speeding in New Jersey. The 2014 third-round draft pick, who also was cited for driving while intoxicated, had 48 receptions for 482 yards and four touchdowns in two-plus seasons in Philadelphia. You live and you learn, Huff said Monday. Hes also averaged 27.7 yards on 42 career kickoff returns, including TDs of 107 and 98 yards since entering the NFL.Coach Dirk Koetter would not speculate on what Huff could contribute to a team that needs help at receiver with veteran Vincent Jackson on injured reserve. We signed him to the practice squad. Thats it, Koetter said. All your practice squad guys are developmental guys youre trying to look at. Im going to be here, in the playbook, and try to do everything else. Im going to try to do everything I can to show these coaches that Im here for a good reason and ready to help my teammates, Huff said.My main focus right now is to learn the playbook, learn my teammates and learn how things are done around here, he added. I have a great group of guys around me to help teach me the ropes.Huff told The Associated Press in Philadelphia last week that he carries a gun because he doesnt trust people in his hometown of Houston and he has to protect his family. The players attorney said Huff has a license to carry in Texas and that the weapon was not loaded when the athletes car was stopped on the New Jersey side of the Walt Whitman Bridge.---For more NFL coverage: http://www.pro32.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP-NFL ' ' '
