Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin were each fined $12,154 for unsportsmanlike conduct after the players raised middle fingers in separate games Sunday, sources told ESPN.Burfict stuck both of his middle fingers up toward the stands late in the fourth quarter of the Bengals 16-12 home loss to the Bills. The fine is Burficts second of the season. He was fined $75,000 for allegedly stomping on the leg of Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount.Burfict also was suspended three games without pay to start the season for violating the NFLs safety policy.Baldwin was fined after he was seen giving Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell the middle finger during a win over the Philadelphia Eagles. In the third quarter, Baldwin threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Russell Wilson on a trick play. Before the play, coming out of the huddle, Baldwin flipped Bevell off because, he said, he likes to catch touchdowns in the red zone, not throw them.We joked about it, Baldwin said. Im sure you guys know now weve been begging for that play for a couple weeks now, trying to get that done. However, I didnt want it in the red zone. I wanted the target in the red zone.Typically when we get in the red zone, all the receivers, all the tight ends, were kind of lobbying for the opportunity to get a pass in the end zone so we can score some touchdowns. Its very seldom that you hear a quarterback lobbying for a pass to himself, which Russell [Wilson] didnt. But its just the fact that we dont want to literally be throwing away our targets in the red zone.Bevell had a laugh about Baldwins gesture on Wednesday.Doug and I have a great relationship, first and foremost, Bevell said. I think Doug in his excitement, when he heard the play called in the huddle and knowing that he was going to get an opportunity to make Seahawk history, he was really excited, and he wanted to tell Bev that he was No. 1. And he just messed up a little bit there. If I could inspire him to make that perfect pass, then Ill go ahead and take it. Authentic Custom Dodgers Jersey . What to watch for tonight in Game 6 of the World Series:---SO CLOSEThe Cleveland Indians can win their first championship since 1948 with a victory over the visiting Chicago Cubs. The city is primed to party, too, after Cleveland fans missed out on hosting this years biggest sports events so far. LeBron James and the Cavaliers completed their NBA Finals comeback on the road, beating Golden State in Game 7 for Clevelands first major pro sports title in 52 years. The Indians clinched the AL Central crown at Detroit, won the Division Series in Boston and the AL Championship Series at Toronto. It would be nice to actually do one in front of the home crowds, second baseman Jason Kipnis said.PITCHING INTrailing 3-2 in the Series, the Cubs need a win to force a decisive seventh game Wednesday night. Theyll turn to 2015 NL Cy Young Award winner Jake Arrieta in Game 6, while the Indians counter with Josh Tomlin, a back-end starter working on short rest.Inconsistent throughout his postseason career, Arrieta took a no-hit bid into the sixth inning of his Game 2 win last Wednesday. Hell have five days between starts, one more than normal.Tomlin, meanwhile, will be on only three days rest since throwing 58 pitches over 4 2/3 smooth innings during Clevelands 1-0 victory in Game 3. After losing his rotation spot while slumping in August, the 32-year-old righty has stepped up in the absence of injured Indians starters Carlos Carrasco and Danny Salazar this postseason, going 2-0 with a 1.76 ERA in three starts.GOING BATTYEven with Kris Bryant hitting a home run in Gamee 5, the Cubs are still waiting for some of their big bats to break loose.dddddddddddd Theyve totaled just 10 runs so far in the World Series -- thats their worst production for any five-game stretch this season.Bryant, a leading contender for NL MVP, and Javier Baez, co-MVP of the NL Championship Series, are a combined 5 for 38 (.132) with 16 strikeouts and only one RBI.COMFORT ZONEMuch has been made about Kyle Schwarber returning to Chicagos lineup, but the switch back to American League rules in Cleveland also allows the Indians to start sharp-eyed slugger Carlos Santana in his regular role as designated hitter again. During the three games at Wrigley Field, Santana made one start at first base and two in left field, a position he had not played since 2012. I was really proud of him, Cleveland manager Terry Francona said. Ill be glad that we can DH somebody, though.NOVEMBER NOVELTYDerek Jeter became baseballs first Mr. November when he hit a World Series home run in the 10th inning to win Game 4 at Yankee Stadium in 2001.
