Ertz is on a three-game streak of catching six or more passes and has a favorable matchup against Green Bay. Eifert has a tougher matchup in Baltimore, a team that has allowed the second-fewest points to opponents tight ends this year, but he also will be higher on his teams passing-target priority list, given the injuries to A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard. That latter factor gives Eifert the edge in this one. -- KCTom Brady or Marcus Mariota? Standard scoring #StartSitESPN - Frank Meisl (@M0neyintheFRANK) November 27, 2016Mariota has scored 20 or more fantasy points in three consecutive games and is facing a Bears defense that ranks 19th in vertical yards per attempt (11.3 on aerials traveling 11 or more yards downfield). Brady has been just as prolific, but he is listed as questionable for this contest and the Patriots have a banged-up receiving corps. That makes Mariota the safer pick, but consider Brady an upside option if your matchup requires going that route. -- KCCarr or newton?? #StartSitESPN- Jon Carbajal (@carbsnine) November 27, 2016Carr is facing a Panthers defense that has allowed a single-digit fantasy point total to opponents running backs in four contests this season. Add that to a Panthers secondary that has allowed 13.2 yards per vertical pass attempt this season (ranked 29th) and it will push Oakland to lean on the downfield passing attack very much in this game. Also Kap over Tannenhill?#StartSitESPN - Steve Becker (@sbeck1226) November 27, 2016Tye ranks tied for first among tight ends this week in my matchup rating system, as his 100 score is at the top of this system that grades matchup strength on a 0-100 scale. That makes him a potential start over Kelce, who has a zero score in this category, but given their respective rankings on their teams passing target priority list, the suggestion would be to start Kelce over Tye unless you need to play for upside potential. Would start Kaepernick over Tannehill due in large part to Kaepernicks rushing ability, as he ranks fourth among quarterbacks in that category despite missing five games. -- KC#StartSitESPN Carr or Rodgers?- Chris matthews (@Cmatthews8699) November 27, 2016As noted earlier, Carr has the benefit of facing a Panthers defense that has struggled to stop vertical passes. Having noted this edge, Rodgers faces an Eagles defense that ranks 23rd in vertical YPA (11.7). Rodgers also has the fantasy football advantage of a Packers secondary that might be the worst in the league (14.3 vertical YPA, ranked last). That latter factor makes this game likely to turn into a shootout and thus gives Rodgers an upside edge that makes him the selection here. -- KC#startsitespn Steve smith sr or Doug Baldwin? - Nate (@natefrontiero) November 27, 2016I penned an Insider article this past week noting how Baldwin is perfectly suited to repeat his dominant late season point production level from last season. That upside level should start today against a Buccaneers secondary that has allowed 28 or more points to opponents wide receivers in six games this season. That trend could continue against a Cincinnati offense that ranks 20th in ESPN Stats & Informations pass protection metric. Combine that with the Bengals not having Green or Bernard and there is more than enough justification to leave the Jets defense on the bench so you dont have to root against your favorite team. -- KC@ESPNFantasy with Tom Brady still questionable, would you start Brees early or risk waiting for Brady? #StartSitESPN - Kevin Harencame (@minusthesurvive) November 27, 2016Brees has a 35 score in my matchup grading system that measures matchup strength on a 0-100 scale (with 100 being the most favorable). That is the toughest matchup among top-10 fantasy quarterbacks. Since Brady practiced in full on Friday, the odds are good that he will be a full go this week. Those issues could show up against a powerful Cardinals secondary that ranks second in quarterback fantasy points allowed per game (12.2). The Chicago defense is quite banged up this week, so Mariota should be able to extend his streak of scoring 20 or more points to four straight games, so give him the start in this one. -- KC@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Lambo or Gostkowski - Fabian Rosas Reyes (@FaboRoss) November 27, 2016Its not often that kicker questions are asked! Lambo has been more apt to hit the double-digit point level this year (something hes achieved five times), but he is also only two games removed from a goose egg against Denver. Gostkowski is on the higher-powered offense, and the Jets are a very favorable matchup, so go with the percentages and start Gostkowski. -- KCSpencer ware or thomas rawls? #StartSitESPN- K1NG JAMES (@GingerSnapp20) November 27, 2016I have Rawls and Ware just one spot from one another, with Rawls getting the nod for being on the better overall offense with Seattle surging of late. I also dig the matchup a good deal, as the Bucs have ceded nearly 150 total yards per game to backs. The opportunity has been there all season in some sense, as he has at least 13 touches in every outing, but just lately is he seeing a workhorse workload. The Browns have allowed the most points per drive and touchdowns per drive, setting up the Giants for a nice outing. More specifically, Cleveland has yielded the second-most rushing yards to backs and a generous 4.62 yards per carry. That said, I prefer Williams, who is a top-20 fantasy wideout in per-game production despite having two no-show outings against Denvers elite secondary.
