They are just three games away from ending their 16-year hiatus from the top tier of English football.Owner Dejphon Chansiri has cleared the £15million debts at the club and loosened the purse strings to fund a savvy recruitment drive which has attracted quality attacking players.Since hammering Wolves 4-1 in late December, they havent looked back, losing just three of the following 17 games. Automatic promotion was a possibility with six games left, but the relentless winning run of the top three plus a blip in form put pay to that chance.Play-off history: Winners (2005)Ollies key man: Barry Bannan: The little genius! It is easy to forget that they flirted with relegation last campaign, finishing 20th.A record-breaking run of 21 games unbeaten laid their marker down for and they finished with a flourish too, racking up a 14-game unbeaten sequence. To reach 89 points and not make the top two (lost out on goal difference) is a unique and potentially deflating occurrence. New head coach Paul Clement looked to building an easy-on-the-eye team capable of winning the title but a wobble in form and a breakdown in communication with the owner lead to Clements dismissal in February.Following their incomprehensible implosion last season, it looked as though a similar fate was awaiting them as they dropped to sixth in March. When fully fit, he is a Premier League-class player who has the ability to shine on the big stage. Hull Citys Robert Snodgrass is a big-game player, in Ollies opinion Ollies first-leg prediction: I was worried about Derbys mentality earlier this season, but theyve turned a corner in that regard. On their day, they can wipe the floor with anyone. This is a tough test for Hull, who Im shocked didnt finish in the top two. They have relied on Abel Hernandez to score their goals this season - no one else has chipped in regularly - and they have slipped up in too many winnable games. Both these teams have unbelievable talent on show. This game could be any scoreline if there is an early goal, especially now George Thorne is missing for Derby. He gives his back four plenty of protection. In their last seven league games, both teams have scored a total of 28 goals. I fancy a thriller here with Derby just edging it.OLLIE PREDICTS: 3-2 (Sky Bet odds 33/1)Also See:Burnley presented with trophyHow to win the play-offsFL play-offs: Who, when, where?Super 6Adrian Wilson Jersey . Judge Gates struck down the arguments made by former USACA executive secretary Kenwyn Williams on behalf of USACA, that the games were not properly sanctioned, with Gates writing that USACAs claims were insufficient to justify ex-parte relief.Ex parte orders are antithetical to precious due process rights, Judge Gates wrote, citing previous legal precedent. There must be a strong and clear showing before a temporary injunction without notice may issue.Williams had filed a lawsuit against Lauderhill Mayor Richard Kaplan, Broward County Parks & Recreation, and Central Broward Regional Park manager Duncan Finch last week - with USACA and USACA vice-president Owen Grey listed as co-plaintiffs - seeking an emergency injunction to prevent the games from happening. Williams claimed that in bypassing USACA and going to the ICC for sanctioning, the CPL had not gone through the proper sanctioning process in order for the games to be staged. However, Williams did not file suit against the CPL nor the ICC, the two parties who applied for and approved sanctioning respectively.Mayor Kaplans lawyers filed a motion for dismissal on July 20, arguing that Williams should not be allowed to file a suit as a pro se litigant because he is not licensed to practice law in Florida. In addition to his rulinng that the suit did not meet the merits to justify ex-parte relief, Judge Gates also sided with Kaplans lawyers in ruling that Williams did not have standing to represent USACA in a legal capacity.ddddddddddddPetitioner Kenwyn S Williams purports to bring the instant action on behalf of USA Cricket Association, Gates wrote in his summary. Mr Williams is not permitted to do so. Mr Williams is not a member of the Florida Bar, nor has he provided any documentation that he is authorized to practice law in the State of Florida. Under Florida law, a corporation may not represent itself through non-lawyer employees, officers or shareholders. Thus, if petitioner USA Cricket Association wishes to proceed in the instant action, it must retain counsel.Marshall Beil, a lawyer representing USACA from the firm McGuire Woods LLP, had sent a cease and desist notice to Williams in June when he first threatened to take legal action to stop the CPL games. Based on the stance taken by Beil on behalf of USACA, it is unlikely USACA will continue pursuing the case. Mayor Kaplan was satisfied with the ruling handed down by Judge Gates. The Judges ruling did not surprise me, and we were extremely confident that we would prevail in this situation, Kaplan told ESPNcricinfo in a written statement. The action had no merit, and the ICC, who has sole authority to sanction the event, did so in writing some time ago. I look forward to seeing everyone at the games. ' ' '
