Hertfordshire Mavericks shooter Sammy Wallace has claimed the Sky Sports Vitality Superleague Player of the Season award.In a keenly fought contest, the Mavericks ace pipped Manchester Thunder and England centre Sara Bayman by just 1 per cent as over 16,500 fans cast their vote.Sky Sports revealed the nominations a fortnight ago and voting ended at midday on Friday May 6 with Trinidad and Tobago international Wallace coming out on top with 36 per cent to Baymans 35 per cent.
