He produced 1098 rushing yards on 219 attempts and 867 receiving yards on 107 receptions. He was 133 yards short of becoming the third running back in NFL history to have 1000 yards in both rushing and receiving. The other two backs were Roger Craig and Marshall Faulk. Both Craig and Faulk had more time to achieve this feat, though. Craig met the goal while he played in the playoffs with the San Francisco 49ers in 1985. Faulk met the goal in 1999 when his Rams won the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, the Panthers didn’t play well enough in the second half of the season for McCaffrey to have enough time to meet this achievement. However, he did get an all-pro selection, so he did receive some appropriate recognition for his incredible season. He also made NFL history with this incredible stat below:McCaffrey is at the top of this list, and it is full of wide receivers (with the exception of Reggie Bush). As a 22 year old, he has more receptions than the likes of Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald when they were his age. If that wasn’t impressive enough, check out this phenomenal highlight tape he posted:Personally DJ Moore Jersey On Sale , I believe he will get 1000 single-season yards in both rushing and receiving someday. He is that good. The Panthers just need to perform much better while McCaffrey is in his prime. What do you think, Panthers fans? The Panthers need to replace the retiring Ryan Kalil at center. Could Elgton Jenkins be an option for them?"WhiteFanposts Fanshots Sections Keep Sounding PodcastPanthers 2019 NFL DraftCSR Film RoomPanthers 2019 NFL DraftFilm room scouting report on Mississippi State center Elgton JenkinsNew,11commentsThe Panthers need to replace the retiring Ryan Kalil at center. Could Elgton Jenkins be an option for them?ESTShareTweetShareShareFilm room scouting report on Mississippi State center Elgton JenkinsKim Klement-USA TODAY SportsA native of Clarksdale, Mississippi Elgton Jenkins was rated as a 3 star recruit by 247Sports. Jenkins was a versatile offensive lineman for the Bulldogs. He started 34 games, but 26 of them came at center. According to Pro Football Focus, Jenkins only allowed five total pressures in 369 pass blocking snaps in 2018. He was a two time member of the SEC All Academic Honor Roll.Film reviewJenkins popped on my radar a couple weeks ago at the Senior Bowl. He has a powerful base to drop his base and anchor against nose tackles or 3-technique defensive tackles. Jenkins was battle tested in the SEC. He faced potential No. 1 overall pick Quinnen Williams. Check out these five clips to see how he did. Some wins. Some losses. Williams is an outstanding prospect. Jenkins shouldn’t dwell on losing these reps. Williams caused him issues with his quickness. Jenkins didn’t get his hands up soon enough, which forced him in a trailing position. On the whole though, Jenkins did control him with his hand placement a few times. His strong hands allow him to stay engaged longer.Against his school’s in state rival DJ Moore Jersey Sale , Jenkins flashed dominant traits. His functional strength stands out as a run blocker. He understands angles especially on down blocks. Jenkins gains positioning, but then closes the wall to create an alley for the running back. His football IQ is also featured on these clips. He is quick and smart enough to pick up on a stunt or other blitzes without affecting the protection. It was more of the same for Jenkins against LSU. He showed strong hands, functional strength, a solid anchor, walling lane runs, and football intelligence. Jenkins has the production (one sack conceded in two years), experience, and played at the highest level in college football. It will not be a surprise if he continues to climb up boards.Fit with CarolinaThe Panthers need a center. Ryan Kalil’s performance dropped in 2018 Replica DJ Moore Jersey , but with his retirement the urgency to keep Cam Newton’s pocket clean increases. There has been noise that some teams are considering Jenkins as a left tackle. I strongly disagree. He has the potential to become a Pro Bowl center. I did a film piece on Garrett Bradbury last month. He is talented in his own right. However, Jenkins is a better fit in Carolina’s gap and power scheme. Further, I don’t believe that Jenkins will cost as much as Bradbury. He could be available in the second round, which makes sense. Jenkins might not have the nastiness, but he has the fundamentals and core traits to succeed long term.
